It’s not THAT hard to get active, Vancouver. Let’s move!

Some great ideas on how to get and stay active in our fine city.

christinsadler: Spoiler Alert: You will get wet.

Just read an article from The Globe and Mail - Inactivity is apparently costing Canadians $6.8 Billion a Year. $6.8 Billion! (including $2.4-billion in direct costs: providing care to patients, and $4.3-billion in indirect costs: workplace absenteeism & long-term disability.)

So, just in case the most recent infographic to circulate the web - Sitting All Day is Killing You - hasn’t made you re-evaluate your life, maybe this newsflash will. Inactive You will make You sick. Period.
Do something about it.

If you’re lucky enough to live in Vancouver BC, you’re in luck! It’s one of the easiest cities to be active in. There is always something to do! Check out the links below - there’s always a race to run, a mountain to hike, a climbing gym to go to, a bike route to bike on. And yes, it RAINS here. All. The. Time. So, [Spoiler Alert] YOU WILL GET WET.
